xcorso is a free orienteering course-planning tool. You can use it without an account. Creating an account enables cloud sync so your projects are available across devices.
This service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

When you create an account we process the following data to provide the service (legal basis: performance of contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR):
We do not sell, share, or use your data for anything other than providing the service. We do not access your projects unless required to debug a problem you report.
Your data is kept until you delete your account. There is no automatic expiry.
We use Sentry to detect and fix software errors (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). When an error occurs, Sentry receives the error message, stack trace, browser type, and operating system. No personal data, email addresses, or project content is sent to Sentry. You can opt out by using a browser extension that blocks requests to sentry.io.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data. You can exercise these directly in the app:

If you believe your data is being mishandled you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. For the UK: Information Commissioner's Office.
Don't use xcorso to store illegal content or abuse the service (automated bulk requests, etc.). We may suspend accounts that do.
xcorso is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running and your data safe, but make no guarantees. Back up important projects by downloading .oco files.
If we update these terms we'll note the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
